Round Square Conference 2007 held in Daly College, Indore - India between the 18th – 24th of Octorber
This year’s conference landed the Starehe Delegates an Indian soil – Mumbai on the 18th of October, 2007. This was the second time the conference was hosted in India last one was in 1993, in Doon School.
The Starehe delegates group was made up of six students and a member of staff who is the school’s R.S Representative. read more »
Term I games
This year has seen the school perform tremendously in both terms one and two inter school championships. In term one the school took 5 students for the nationals championships held in Eldoret, 1 for cross country and 4 were decathletes. The school in term one games managed to uphold its glory by finishing second in cross country senior championship, first in junior cross country championships and first in decathlon competitions. read more »
Term II games
Term two was here with us and we were to watch the great heights our athletes were to achieve as expected, they did the school proud once again starting with athletics, the school team being the defending champions for over a decade now, managed to secure the first position with little challenge from more than ten schools that they faced in the zonals. We manage to take more than five of our boys to the national’s championships. The team believes its all about strength and conditioning. read more »
A New Director for Starehe
At the beginning of the year, we were introduced to our new director Prof., Dr. Jesse Mugambi. This was after the long and tedious process of looking for a suitable director that took one and a half years. read more »
The Danish Dance Troupe
On the 15th October, the entire SBC community was treated to a rare form of entertainment by a Danish Dance Troupe. The event started at 4pm and took the place of the usual Assembly and Parade. read more » |
